HOW TO MEASURE YOUR NAILS ON YOUR OWN:
What You Need:

A soft measuring tape (or a piece of tape and a ruler).

Natural nails (no polish or acrylics for best accuracy).

Step 2:
Use a pen and mark both sides of the nail bed.
Step 1:
Place the Tape and hold the measuring tape horizontally across the widest part of your natural nail. Make sure the tape follows the curve of your nail from side to side. Be sure to press down on the left & right sidewalls to crease.
Step 3:
Measure Count the millimeter lines between your nail walls.

Don't use the inches side! Flip the tape to the side with "cm" numbers (1, 2, 3...).

Count the tiny lines: The small lines between the big numbers are millimeters (mm).
How to Read Your Size
1 cm = 10 mm (This is the big "1" on your tape).

If your nail goes 3 tiny lines past the "1", you are 13mm.
If your nail is exactly on the "1", you are 10mm.
​
Note: An average thumb is usually around 16mm. If you get "6mm," you are likely looking at the wrong side!
